Skydiving malfunction and cutaway
Here you have a possibility to watch the full sequence of a skydiving “small” malfunction, tension knot, cutaway and landing on reserve. If you have VR goggles, the experience is even more immersing. It’s recommendable to watch this video several times and study the case from different angles.
Please remember, as this jump was performed by a very experienced skydiver with over 12000 skydives, we never recommend following the main canopy. If you save your handles you are a hero already! Every skydiving malfunction and cutaway are very stressful situations. Reserve canopies are usually smaller than main and you have less time to think. In such case you should concentrate on the safe landing.
